Summer Reading

As much as we love homeschooling, we are like any other family and thoroughly enjoy summer break. We originally planned on taking 6 weeks off but after those flew by too quickly we have extended it to 9. Our summer has been full but at least the pressure of completing assignments is off. When we first began our break, I told the kids they would not have to do any school work during the entire summer. Austin's response was "We can still read books though, right?" Ah, isn't that what any mom wants to hear?
